On September 3, 2026, the Meet Magento Ukraine 2026 conference took place at the Mercure Congress Centre in Kyiv—an international event for e-commerce businesses, developers, digital agencies, and technology companies working with Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce.
Meet Magento is an annual global conference dedicated to the Magento Open Source and Adobe Commerce ecosystem. The event takes place in over 40 countries worldwide, and Meet Magento Ukraine 2026 marked the latest gathering of the Ukrainian eCommerce community.
The conference brought together developers, e-commerce business owners, agencies, technology partners, and solution providers—everyone building and growing the digital commerce ecosystem in Ukraine. The event ran from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, including a lunch break, networking, and an afterparty.
Program and Speakers
This year, the conference took place across three parallel stages simultaneously:
Business – growth strategies, UX, marketing, and real-world case studies
Technical – architecture, scalability, performance, and security
AI – how artificial intelligence is already transforming e-commerce: automation, personalization, and new development approaches.
Speakers and participating companies included representatives from Vodafone Ukraine, Promodo, Kantar Ukraine, eSputnik, EVA, ALLO, Leroy Merlin, EPAM, Webpromo, Mirasvit, Eltrino, and others. In addition to the presentations, an expo zone featuring company stands was open to attendees, and a Contribution Day took place.
The day’s agenda was packed: registration at 9:00 AM, the opening ceremony, twelve concurrent time slots across three stages, the closing session at 5:10 PM, and an afterparty at 5:30 PM. Highlights included presentations on how big data helps the retail sector acquire new customers (Vodafone), product evolution without a complete Magento rewrite (ex-ALLO), the use of AI agents for breach investigations and performance troubleshooting (Whidegroup), and the migration from Vue Storefront to a custom headless solution using Nuxt 3 and an API Gateway (EVA).
Four panel discussions deserve special mention: on technical approaches—what works and what merely creates unnecessary problems in AI projects (DataArt, Mirasvit, vConnect, Perspective); on Magento in the era of Composable Commerce—monolithic, headless, or hybrid stacks (Eltrino, EPAM, Vaimo); on business solution discipline in the AI era and safely cutting IT costs (DataArt, Vodafone, Webpromo, Leroy Merlin); and on the pitfalls of building a marketplace (Turum-burum, EVA, ex-ALLO, MAUDAU).
Acknowledgments and Results
The organizers thanked the soldiers and defenders for the opportunity to gather in Kyiv and emphasized that people were the most important element of MMUA26. Attendees asked questions from the floor, conversed during breaks, and forged new connections that extended well beyond the stage. Speakers and moderators shared candid insights—discussing not only success stories but also mistakes and lessons learned from real-world projects.
The event was supported by sponsors Hyvä, Magefan, LupaSearch, Stagem Agency, Mirasvit, eSputnik, Hypernode, Protectus, Corefinity, and Atwix, as well as the Magento Association, which fosters the growth of the Ukrainian Magento community. Special thanks go to the media and information partners and the Perspective team, who organized the event.
On September 2, the day before the conference, a Contribution Day took place; participants worked on Magento Open Source and Hyvä Theme, resulting in 26 pull requests, each of which translates into a donation to the "Yedynozbir" (Unified Fundraiser) campaign. Half of the ticket proceeds were also allocated to the Serhiy Prytula Charity Foundation’s "Yedynozbir" initiative to purchase interceptor drones and equipment for drone crews.
The full photo gallery from the conference has already been published on the website (2026 event photo gallery), and session recordings will be gradually released on YouTube over the coming month—four panel discussions are already available for viewing (Meet Magento Ukraine).
